2009 BMW X5
The X5 enters 2009 now available in three rebadged trims: xDrive 30i, xDrive 48i, and 35d. The xDrive 30i equipped with a 260 horsepower 3.0L inline six-cylinder engine while the xDrive 48i receives a 4.8L V8 engine that produces 350 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. The new 35d boasts BMW's 265-hp 3.0L Turbo Diesel engine. All engines are mated to a six-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. Standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, adaptive speed control, remote controlled power windows, and Xenon adaptive high intensity discharge headlights. The optional Sport Package includes Adaptive Drive which combines Active Roll Stabilization with Electronic Damping Control. Other available packages include the Active Ventilated Seat Package, Premium Package, and Technology Package.
