2009 Porsche Cayman
The 2009 Porsche Cayman is available in two models: base and S. The Cayman base features a 2.9L six-cylinder Boxer engine producing 265 horsepower while the Cayman S is equipped with a 3.4L flat-six engine boasting 320 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to either a short-shift six-speed manual transmission or a new seven-speed PDK double-clutch gearbox transmission. The new PDK transmission, along with the activated Launch Control in the optional Sports Chrono Package, allows the Cayman S to accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 4.9 seconds. Other options include several interior trim packages and Porsche's ceramic composite brakes.
