2009 Hyundai Elantra
Carried over from last year with few changes, the 2009 Hyundai Elantra is available in both GLS and SE trims with either a manual or automatic transmission. Updates this year include minor changes to the suspension systems (enhanced ride and steering tuning for improved road feel and performance) as well as a new audio system that is USB/iPod compatible. The SE comes with a firmer, sport-tuned suspension and has standard stability control. A minor update to the interior is an improved instrument cluster. Most of the changes for this year are subject to delayed availability. All Elantra models come with six standard airbags, including side-curtain airbags, designed to protect outboard passengers in the front and rear seating positions.
